It was cute.

That is all.

Western and eastern concepts of the afterlife: the Japanese girl is a lonely ghost wandering the world, while the shoes have soles.

This anime most definitely does not suck.

Jet Bin Fever - 2014-03-10

Really poorly animated. Just watch "Singin' in the Rain" instead. Also, where's the anime girl version of Donald O' Connor? Lost opportunity, indeed.

Jet Bin Fever - 2014-03-10

haha, charming.

Not getting into this slapfight but it is criminal how little credit Donald O'Connor get for his work in Singing in the Rain. Hardest working dancer in the film by far, that backflip off the wall in one of the numbers is like something out of a Shaw Bros. movie.

Classic Hollywood always did undervalue the goofy, less handsome sidekick actors, even though they're often more talented than the leading man.

gotta agree that the animation is sub par. still fun.

Sanest Man Alive - 2014-12-09

The animation was cute; strongly reminded me of an old Tom & Jerry slapstick-dance number (possibly even partly intentional, given how big T&J are in Japan). I don't get the objections over animation quality though; it's effective enough for what it's doing. I can't read those space runes, but it looked like this was only made by one or two people, not an entire MGM workshop.

Killer Joe - 2014-03-10

Well then smartass, I enjoyed this so much that I will go and watch the movie. Now I'll be entertained twice.

Killer Joe - 2014-03-10

Was supposed to have been for Jet bin.

Jet Bin Fever - 2014-03-10

haha. It's a classic. Just pretend that you're actually your grandpa and you should enjoy it pretty well.

Unmerciful Crushing Force - 2014-03-11

This cartoon has me starting with a big bright smile so you suppose erroneously Jet Bin.

The movie still holds up pretty damn well as a satire of Hollywood machinations and razzle-dazzle self-marketing that exists to this day, I would say.
