My band in 9th grade did this same parody, but it was actually part of a butter-themed medley that also included a Black Flag song (Butter, Butter, Butter), some random interjections of butterized lyrics from Institutionalized and I don't remember what else.
-1 because Mother wasn't a Misfits song.

Old_Zircon - 2014-02-23 Actually it must have been 10th grade, because it was Butter '94. That whole band started out as a weird clique of people who liked polka, Ornette Coleman, Black Flag and making fun of Danzig, and didn't know how to play our instruments.

Is this the same guys who did Lard Zeppelin and Beefy/DC? It seems like something they'd do.

infinite zest - 2014-02-24 This was back in Wisconsin, but a few of my friends were in a band called Beatallica.. they did Beatles songs in the style of Metallica and vice versa. I thought it was pretty clever. Changing around song lyrics to be food items is about as novel as Weird Al, but these guys were super cool.

they used to play all the time at the Ash Street in Portland.. their live shows were super silly and fun. I think they broke up though.

I approve of such parodies.
