Didn't actually mean to vote it out, but I guess I've got no regrets. Well, the trombonist is a +1 I think.

A lot of the time, I'll vote something out of the hopper not because it meets my particular criteria for entertainment, but because I know it will be of interest to enough people that it deserves to escape the hopper.

My Little Pony videos too -- those always result in something fun.

I vote for things that are getting votes solely for that purpose. I often don't even watch them.

We're like a lost clan of destitute farmers building barns out of reclaimed plywood after flood season.

I reluctantly sat through Rollins when he opened for X some years ago. I love him as a person and a poet, but his post Black Flag stuff sucks. Anyway, halfway through his set, which just sounds like "Liar" over and over he asks if anyone wanted to hear some spoken word, and did this verbatim. It was kind of the highlight of the show, as X pretty much sucked that night. They had to stop several times. Granted it was one of their first shows in nearly 10 years, and they'll always be my favorite band, but I'll remember the frozen yogurt thing most of all, and getting drunk off jagermeister because it was cheaper than Pabst. :(

By "sat" I mean "stood", getting pushed around by a bunch of dipshit Rollins fans who had never heard of X and could probably name 2 Black Flag songs, some wearing juggalo facepaint. Ah the memories.

With respect, I scarcely see how this piece could have the same impact without Gerald's "AUUGH!", no matter the context.
