I like the bait and switch Bachmann does by conflating a job with a way to address income inequality. She's not wrong that lowering the minimum wage and further cutting corporate taxes will allow companies to extract more labor and resources from workers, thus encouraging the potential for profit, and indirectly causing job growth. She's arguing that a policy which would explicitly increase wealth inequality would magically do the opposite.
There seems to be a bigger underlying problem that neither of them comes close to addressing. Both Obama's policy of transferring wealth to Wall St. (which surprise, lead to even greater inequality) and Bachmann's ideas seem to be masking a real decline in the rate of profit for capitalist firms. Of course neither of them can fathom that capitalism might be the problem, so we go on as usual...

BorrowedSolution - 2014-01-28 No, you see, the problem is clearly rich people and their craven wickedness. If only we, blighted common fools that we are, would drag them from their homes and obliterate them,then all of the righteous poor people could take up the reins and lead is into an era of prosperity and social enlightenment. So start buying ammo, comrade! This is a complicated problem with an ostensibly simple solution; and that's the best kind.

Let's just note that she says Norway is rich because "they tap into their natural resources." Norway -nationalizes- their oil reserves, and they sink all the subsequent profits into infrastructure, education, and welfare.
