If nothing else, the internet is very good at propagating specific strains of crazy, regardless of borders or distance (see also: bronies, gangstalking, etc). Also, despite similar titles to previous exhibits, I'm so glad this isn't a dupe.
Could use "oh shit" or "headbutt planet earth" tags.
yea, the water landings are the best because they are in areas where there is a real danger of death. falling between a pier and a boat is not where you want to fall.
Five stars for the complete lack of shitty music most of these parkour compilations have. The resounding clang of genetic lines terminating via balls on steel pipe is so much more gratifying.
I was thinking of all the amazing reasons I loved the structural failure / boat got away moments until tree on the beach came along and stole my heart.
While I empathize with their pain and hope they all recover, I have zero sympathy and find myself not at all emotionally conflicted when I laugh at them.
It's sort of like enjoying footage of rodeo cowboys being crippled by bulls or skydivers plummeting like rocks when their chutes fail to open. Yes they're human beings and it's kind of sad that it happens to them, but on the other hand, they're adrenaline junkies who don't seem to give a shit if they die stupidly, so why should I care?
You know, I've almost died doing extremely risky things, and you should have no guilt. Those who do these things take into account how awesome a death it would be should it happen. Bouncing salsa with failed parachute would get me into Valhalla for sure and I would want you to laugh.
