Is this because it's 1993 week at the AV Club?

I still can't comprehend how Penelope Spheeris went from directing WAYNE'S WORLD, which I think is one of the cleverest, funniest movies of all time (YMMV), to directing a bad TV sitcom pilot episode remake in just a little over a year.

boner - 2013-11-05 By most accounts the making of Wayne's World was a hellish experience. She didn't even get to direct Wayne's World 2.

Stars for the petty bickering at the end of part 2.
I can't figure out if the petty side to their personalities was just an act for the screen or if they really were that sad.
Either way, their show was damn entertaining.

I saw Cop and a Half in theaters. I remember little-to-nothing about it.

In keeping with the 1993 vibe the uploader chose to compress this with the Sorensen codec, just for that authentic 1993 internet viewing experience.

I went on (exactly) one date with a girl a couple months ago who swore that Hocus Pocus was THE quintessential Halloween movie. So much so that she bet me most people at the bar would give that as the answer if asked.
Not a single person did out of the dozen. Most had never even heard of the movie.

Old_Zircon - 2013-11-05 I used to know someone who loved Hocus Pocus. She was a compulsive liar who I later found out swore to another one of our friends that she was penpals with Britney Spears. She was in her late 20s at the time.
That seems about right fr someone who loves Hocus Pocus.
