Oh, there are other MINAMI-KE fans here? I submitted this because I think it works well as a funny, absurd standalone scene even if you don't know the characters. If you don't know MINAMI-KE, the main girl in this scene, Chiaki Minami (the youngest of the three sisters of the main Minami family) is usually sullen and deadpan, so this is one of the few scenes where she's radiant and full of joy. For people who like overanalyzing MINAMI-KE, you can make a strong case that she's some kind of autistic "savant".

Kana Minami (the middle sister), the girl with the black hair in twin ponytails who kicks "Yamada" back on to the truck it came from (the circle of life), is the non-conformist troublemaker whom Chiaki finds annoying

Haruka, the eldest sister, doesn't figure in this scene until right at the end. She's the mother figure that Chiaki idolizes due to lack of an actual mother. You see, one of the distinguishing features of MINAMI-KE is that there are no parents (in both Minami families) and the total absence of parents is never really explained. Haruka briefly mentions one character, Fujioka (a classmate of Kana), reminding her of their father, and that's about as much of a discussion of parents as you ever get.

It's criminal that MINAMI-KE has never been licensed in the United States other than Funimation streaming the fourth season online only. It really is one of the comic gems from the last decade.

Sure it's not better this way? We can watch it for free, there are no dubs, or "professional" subtitles to screw up the translation, or weird edits/censoring. This looks good, but if Penguindrum and Anohana aren't here yet, it's not too much of a stretch to think this wouldn't be acquired yet.

MAWARU PENGUINDRUM is available on physical media in North America from Sentai Filmworks and ANOHANA: THE FLOWER WE SAW THAT DAY is available from NIS America.

Fansubs are sufficient for some people, and, obviously, without fansubs I'd have never seen MINAMI-KE in the first place so I'm not arguing against fansubs, but I eventually like to own series I love on physical media.

While Penguindrum is out now (sorry, it's been about two years since I watched, and the release date was the beginning of this one, technically December 31st 2012 if I'm reading correctly) Anohana is still something like 100 dollars and upwards to own (not to mention Penguindrum being 45).

Licensing is pretty dumb, considering that if a show doesn't have enough fans or market potential, it won't show up here. I'd much rather see what I'd like to when it's still out, rather than wait 2-10 years till interest picks up, or someone finally wins the bidding war. It's cause of licensing that we can't have nice things like the Super Robot Wars series.
