After reading the comments, I believe that if civilization collapses but ocean-going travel still exists, there are people whose first thought will be to revive the African slave trade. And they'll be evil pricks enough to have the motivation to give it a lot more effort than one might think.

I read about this, and just fell in love with the man.

Notable things:

~The training was literally rolling the wanna-be astronauts down a hill in a barrel.

~The astronauts all dropped out because they got big egos or because all they did was get rolled down a hill in a barrel for no money.

~The only person to complete the training (which I think was getting rolled down the hill 50 times) was a woman whose name escapes me. Bu unfortunately, she got pregnant and after she had her kid, her family wouldn't allow her to go back to the Zambia space program.

~Edward said that he was willing to work together with the U.S. mission to the moon, but one thing must be very clear, Zambia's flag must be placed first!

~This made news around the world, and Edward was very vocal on pleading for funds, but all they got was 10 rupees (~.50) sent to them by a boy from India who read about them and got inspired.

I really love this. It made me really happy, and then I clicked on the video to see the comments. Now I hate humanity all over again!
