But she does have her limits: http://www.sonichu.com/cwcki/Facebook#Open_Letter_to_Tara_Strong

EvilHomer - 2013-09-22 I've been trying to find some PoE-worthy clips of ChrisChan going off on Tara Strong and/or official Brony reactions to the Sonichu/ Twilight Sparkle feud, but to no avail.
As long as you guys are aware of it, I guess that's what counts. It's very, very funny.
|
Caminante Nocturno - 2013-09-23 My only exposure to Chris-chan is through this site and this site alone, so I presumed he had died after people stopped submitting videos of him.
|
RocketBlender - 2013-09-23 Ditto, I don't really follow Chris-Chan, but now I want to know what you're talking about. Links?
|
EvilHomer - 2013-09-23 Check the link MSB posted above!
ChrisChan got really into ponies not long after the whole running-over-a-guy-with-his-car incident that prompted him to go underground. There's a whole page about his ongoing MLP-saga here -
http://www.sonichu.com/cwcki/My_Little_Pony
He even has his own custom cutie-mark tattoo!
Anyway, Chris likes ponies, but he does not like Tara Strong. Tara's real big on social media and is a bit of a diva. She's recorded audio for fan videos (which is a really cool thing for a voice actress to do, whether you like the show or not) and one of these fan videos featured Twilight Sparkle singing about being a troll.

This led to the grim exchange found in McGuyver's link. To date, Tara Strong is the only celebrity to actually acknowledge Chris' existence.

RocketBlender - 2013-09-23 The anti bullying song she refrences, is that the Babs Seed episode, or something else entirely?
I mean, I don't know nothing about no ponies!
|
EvilHomer - 2013-09-23 I'm not sure which song she's referring to. I don't know if it was Babs Seed (I believe Babs Seed was written and produced by Daniel Ingaram?) but that's a great example of MLP's anti-bullying message.
It's also my favorite song from Season 3; I've been learning it on the piano, much to my neighbour's distress!

How does anyone over the age of 14 use the word "hater" and not feel an ocean of putrescent shame wash over them?
|
|
Cena_mark - 2013-09-23 Stop drinking the Hateraide UglyGooseFireman.
|
baleen - 2013-09-23 After seeing Tara Strong I kind of see why manbabies jerk off to this show.
|
spikestoyiu - 2013-09-23 It's a terrible word made more terrible by the fact that nobody uses it properly. Or at least uses it in the way that the black people who originally came up with it intended before white people ruined it.

John Holmes Motherfucker - 2013-09-27 "I am at heart a propagandist, a tremendous hater, a tiresome nag, complacently positive that there is no human problem which could not be solved if people would simply do as I advise."
--Gore Vidal
|
John Holmes Motherfucker - 2013-09-27 I think of it as an entirely straightforward word meaning somebody who hates. I don't see how anyone gets along on the internet with some bizarre taboo against saying the word. We should have as many words for haters as the eskimos have for "snow".

RocketBlender - 2013-09-22
5 for the 'ol bait and switch.
|
EvilHomer - 2013-09-22 SPOILERS: the creepy clingy manchildren are the *haters*!
I waited three days to use that one, and I don't regret it one bit.
|
MrBuddy - 2013-09-22 This can be summed up in two phrases:
"Internet fight!"
...and...
"STOP LIKING WHAT I DON'T LIKE!!"
|
StanleyPain - 2013-09-23 Yes because you cannot criticize someone's socially broken lifestyle if it is somehow tied to fandom of shitty consumer product.
|
John Holmes Motherfucker - 2013-09-27 Consumer products have nothing to do with it. If you criticize somebody for something that's harming no one, and is none of your business, you're a dick, and a hater hater hater hater. That's always been the rule, and it's always going to be the rule.

RocketBlender - 2013-09-23 Look, the ponies I can tolerate. But Glee? Come on man, have at least SOME dignity.
|
NancyDrewFan123 - 2013-09-23 Glee was good in a gonzo "Is it going to be super offensive and not know it?" type of way but it quickly just became bad.
