Multiple Maniacs can get awfully talky at times, but the entire rosary job scene is the most joyfully sacrilegious thing I've ever watched. Mink Stole reciting the stations of the cross while shoving rosary beads into Divine's cheater while recreating the loaves and fishes miracle using Chicken of the Sea and Wonder Bread? THAT is brilliance! I need to see if that's online somewhere...

Trivia note - Sally Turner, Divine's "stunt double" for this scene, can be spotted later on in the film as one of the Lipstick Beauty Salon customers.

Specifically, when Wink mentions he wishes he were a little girl, she's the one who declares "Well throw a penny in the goddamned fountain and make a goddamned wish!"
