takewithfood - 2013-06-04

I had to double check for an Onion logo at that point. Unbelievable.

kingarthur - 2013-06-05

At "they'll look at what's on the inside, not the outside" I did a spit take.

Kabbage - 2013-06-04

Didn't exactly knock this one out of the park, dad.

Oscar Wildcat - 2013-06-04

Sure, so we invaded Poland. It hurt us more than it hurt the Poles. It's not easy bein' Fuhrerling.

Mr. Purple Cat Esq. - 2013-06-04

He sounded a lot more cogent and articulate than I would have guessed. He is not your typical 'raving looney'

That guy - 2013-06-04

He reminds me of a certain ruler whom I have always held in the highest esteem for being a good judge and a good person for looking within folk and not what's on the outsiden, or what color stars people gehabst on.

Mr. Purple Cat Esq. - 2013-06-04

I would hypothesize that conditions for the poor, social divide and your basic anarchy (or libertarianism if you want to call it that) are so rife in much of the US that for many people the orderliness and smartness of neo-nazism seems very postitive in contrast, and poor rednecks unfortunately have never experienced anything better.

boner - 2013-06-04

THey could probably arrest him for smoking too close to the building.

GovtCensor - 2013-06-05

What Nazis!

simon666 - 2013-06-04

Did anyone else catch his son is named Adolf Hitler Campbell??!?!

EnochEmery - 2013-06-04

There's another kid named Aryan Nations Campbell.

spikestoyiu - 2013-06-04

I thought this family was a bit infamous for that very reason. They were in the news a little while back because a local supermarket refused to put the kid's name on a birthday cake.

Old_Zircon - 2013-06-05

I do remember that now that you mention it.

RedRust - 2013-06-04

No, but seriously. Why would they take his kids away from him for naming them politically incorrect names? Perhaps this young lad holds a steady job, and obeys the laws of the land. I don't see this father putting his children in any particular harm... They may be ridiculed growing up, but if their basic needs are met...

RedRust - 2013-06-04

oooopppsss. Didn't read about the domestic violence bit.

Old_Zircon - 2013-06-05

Thinking through the actual social ramifications the names would have for these kids, I think a convincing argument could be made that they constitute abuse.

kingarthur - 2013-06-05

I worked as a social worker for child welfare in Mississippi. No one ever pulled this kind of shit, but thankfully I got out of the business before the Tea Party loonies.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2013-06-05

You can't make shit like this up. Reality is stranger than any fiction.

I mean, if you look at the white supremacy movement, most of them try and blend in and code their beliefs so people don't get wise to them. They try and market themselves to disenfranchised white men who are too young and dumb to know they are being indoctrinated. They want a new image that got tarnished when their inspiration killed 8 million people in death camps for no reason.

So when I look at this guy, I have to say, I find his honesty refreshing. Evil, and horrific, but refreshing.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2013-06-05

Not that he's being honest about the Holocaust. Just who he admires.

Also, I had forgotten about little Adolf Hitler and Aryan Nations. Do you think they'll get new names? I really hope so, because after all this they really deserve them.

candyheadrobot - 2013-06-05

I'm inclined to agree, people who embrace their prejudice/hate are far less problematic than those who hide it for the sake of being maintaining a good image. Though I'm sure many Greecians would disagree at this point.

joelkazoo - 2013-06-05

As far as naming kids goes, perhaps he considered it a form of psychology to make the kids stronger. There's a lady named Marijuana Pepsi Sawyer who grew up to be a substitute teacher.

Nothing inspires sympathy like Nazis!

"If they're good judges and good people, they'll treat me with the same respect they show black fathers with saggy pants and gang tattoos."
