This is awful and 90s. For someone who knows so much about 80s music, you should know this.

Its a very clear divide. Would you say Vanilla Ice is 80s? How about Roxette? There's a big difference in production that occurred around that time both in music and movies.

Vanilla Ice was a visionary ahead of his time.

As the disgruntled chief of 90's station, the governor and the lawyers don't like JBF's renegade methods...but he gets me results! The public may not like it, but he tagged this piece of filth as early 90's and damn him...he's correct.

JBF, normally you and I are in agreeance on most items, but I have to totally throw you under the bus here and encourage everyone to reply to your depressing message with an enthusiastic and uplifting five stars for the evil banality of this film.

I'm five starring it because it's awesome. "Encino Man" was one of two films which defined the very late 80s, the other being "Poison Ivy" (yes, 1992 is still technically the 80s. Everyone knows this)

Seriously, you find me one thawed caveman in suburban America movie that even comes to close to "Encino Man".

This is one of my all time favorite bad 90s movies.

NO ITS NOT. I know youre not as old as me EvilHomer, but there is a clear and definable difference between the 80s and 90s. Watch the Ben Stiller show for instance and you'll see that immediately.
Also, not to be a dick, but you can't say "technically" there. Its like people misusing "literally." You mean, it is practically the 80s, even if that sentiment is wrong.

Also, anything containing Brendan Fraser needs to be 1 starred on principle alone.

Look, according to the Third Council of Portland, in a decree that was ratified by the Grand Conclave at Seattle later that same year, the 80s didn't end until 1993. I'm sorry, I don't like it any more than you do, but science is science. My hands are literally tied.

And Brandon Frasier is a perfectly adequate actor, who deserves to be five starred BECAUSE OF his role in Encino Man.

I'd take issue with "agreeance" before anything else.

1989 to early spring 1991 are the 90s that could have been if grunge hadn't happened. around 95 or 96 they came back but it wasn't the same.
