I agree that the new Doctor Who making companions cosmically special robs the show of its point, that everyday dildos are special enough to be chosen.
One reason I couldn't get into this New Who, it feels like almost every script was based on someone's fanfiction featuring the most special companion ever.
This is awesome, and all of his points are valid.
