It looks like a caricature of J. Edgar Hoover, or Peter Lorre, or a pug, or a midget or something, but the subject line isn't long enough

Caricature hell, this looks like a photo of J. Edgar Hoover.

kinds karmically balanced that he came back as an ugly captive frog that has to eat crickets

HarrietTubmanPI - 2012-10-11

Looks closer to a Jawa Sandcrawler.

Old_Zircon - 2012-10-11

I can see what yo mean but I think he looks more like this frog.

Uulanbaatorbaby - 2012-10-11

He likes to imagine that the crickets all have the face of Martin Luther King.

Hooker - 2012-10-11

Cricket holocaust.

Bonglorio - 2012-10-11

Cold-blooded, slimy... Yep, that's Hoover all right.

That is an awesome toad. I want one for a pet.

I would name him "Nero Wolf" and keep him in a luxurious terrarium. He would never want for fresh bugs or moist leafy plants.

I bet if that toad could talk, he would sound just like John Houseman.

dead_cat - 2012-10-13

The big question here is, does this toad have a collection of women's clothing and lingerie stashed away somewhere in his enclosure?

Old People - 2012-10-15

Umm J. Edgar actually did some good for this country. More, even, than most of you will probably do.
But yeah, that's a spitting image.
