People will stick their fingers in their ears and let nostalgia override objectivity, but television is better now than it's ever been.

Like all television? Or just the stuff you watch? How would you even measure that? Maybe get a bunch of Smart Guys in a room and show them all the shows from all the time periods and then they assign numerical values to each one, then math happens. Also it probably helps if they are all straight white guys too. Man actually now that I think about it your opinion is a dumb one to even have.
