This man could be my Congressman starting in January.

Maggot Brain - 2012-06-28

Man, fuck the guy from Pawn Stars.

"Hey, remember all that cool shit we did in the past?"

memedumpster - 2012-06-28

That shit stain talks like a human being!

Kill it.

Riskbreaker - 2012-06-28

I'm a liberal, derp

I'm a conervative; hurr derp

SolRo - 2012-06-28

He had to make shit up to win an argument against a straw man...

Bort - 2012-06-28

Very good point; five stars for you (which you can plainly see because they're clearly there).

STABFACE - 2012-06-28

The dude in the hoodie was the ugliest man(?) they could find in an effort to make Joe the Plumber look polished and presentable.

CJH - 2012-06-28

it honestly looks like they were trying to grow phillip seymour hoffman in a lab or something but they took him out early to film the commercial

Kabbage - 2012-06-28

hahahaha

memedumpster - 2012-06-28

For a split second I thought it was TV's Frank and Joe was going to get robbed.

Jet Bin Fever - 2012-06-29

Oh god. So much laughter at this thread.

jangbones - 2012-06-28

HOW IS IT EVEN POSSIBLE TO MAINTAIN MINIMAL BRAIN ACTIVITY REQUIRED FOR LIVING AND BELIEVE THIS IS REMOTELY ACCURATE?

Binro the Heretic - 2012-06-28

But you see, Mr. Plumber, Republicans, Like Abraham Lincoln And Dr. Martin Luther King Junior, used to really care about individual rights. They didn't want an oppressor to be able to take away the rights of individuals.

Now, they define giant multinational corporations run by the mega-rich as "individuals" and they define the middle and lower classes as "oppressors" who want to take away the rights of the "individuals" to do whatever they want, regardless of how much harm it does.

In short, go fuck yourself, you tool.

Kabbage - 2012-06-28

God, well said.

Crackersmack - 2012-06-28

"Yeah I'm totally not racist. Here's a guy in a hoodie as a shout-out to all my right-wing buds that support Zimmerman for completely non-racist reasons. We aren't racist, no siree."

themilkshark - 2012-06-29

I saw that too. Racists love to say they're not racist.

Xenocide - 2012-06-28

"Hi, I'm some sort of hooded goblin creature from the dark realm of Elderlock, where the dreaded Night-Elves await the day when their dark master Wrathalon will arise from the Seventh Pit and begin his assault upon all that is good."

"And I'm a conservative."

dek863 - 2012-06-28

This.

Colonel Cowlung - 2012-06-28

Nothing causes me to completely dismiss a person's opinion faster than:

1) Using the "Democrat Party" petty slight

b) The "Republicans are the party that opposed slavery!" bullshit misdirection

Dread Pirate Roberts - 2012-06-28

Quite literally ALL of his points can be thrown out the window because they're operating on the assumption that the parties today are the same as they were during his examples.

Democrats used to be the 'conservative' party, and republicans used to be the 'liberal' party (if you really dumb things down, that is). They flip flopped during the 1920-40s when suddenly it was Democrats that wanted to help people.

craptacular - 2012-06-28

Yes, what was that called? The Democrats split into two blocks in the South, one of which was pro-slavery, the other not. Then the anti-slavery camp went north and joined the GOP... right?

anyway, five hate-filled stars for joe the plumber

Jet Bin Fever - 2012-06-29

yep. They split into a Northern group that supported Stephen Douglas and a Southern group that didn't support him (over slavery), which allowed Lincoln to win in 1860.

And yeah, you're exactly right DPR. The whole thing just assumes that political parties are fixed in time, never changing... just like their backwards view of the United States, politics, and culture.

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2012-06-28

And when people ask "what good are trade unions?" all you need do is show them this video and say, "Trade unions have standards for membership so you know a unionized member has reached some minimal level of ability in their craft. Joe didn't, which is why he can't actually hang out a shingle that he's a real plumber."

Bort - 2012-06-28

Five invisible stars for you too sir.

Camonk - 2012-06-28

I'll be honest. I was gonna 1-star this shit. But while I was typing out my comment, I saw yours. Hey man what's up

Camonk - 2012-06-28

So, nobody's raped joe the plumber to death then? That's proof that America is wrong and the terrorists deserve to win

This isn't even interesting.

dek863 - 2012-06-29

You seem to have had a bug up your ass over the last decent videos...

misterbuns - 2012-06-29

Dude looks like one of the dwarfs from Phantasm.

misterbuns - 2012-06-29

My stars are for the pleasant subtext that racism doesnt exist in america.

Caminante Nocturno - 2012-06-29

I think it's cute when faded conservative icons try to become relevant again.

Speaking of which, nobody seems to be caring what Palin has to say about this.

Nikon - 2012-06-29

Palin? What's that? Is that a skin creme?

Cherry Pop Culture - 2012-06-29

This is for brain-dead shitstains. I don't even have to explain how moronic this douchepile of a commercial is

themilkshark - 2012-06-29

The Mac parody ad will never die. To escape, you must die.

SolRo - 2012-06-29

I'll give the only explanation needed;

He has to lie to win an argument against a strawman of his own creation.

(though I wonder if there's some deeper meaning to that, like deep down he is so insecure and afraid of progressives that he is scared even of the weakest and dumbest stereotype of them that he can imagine)

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2012-06-29

This makes me hate everyone. Was that what they wanted?

Caminante Nocturno - 2012-06-29

Actually, yes.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2012-06-29

Well it's not for the same reasons, at least. The stupidity drives up my hatred quotient and this is really stupid.

SolRo - 2012-06-29

Republicans want you to fear anyone not american and hate any american or ally that has a different world view.

It's less amusing than it used to be watching american society implode.
