Its easy to forget how ahead of its time this show was.

Except for the God damned laugh track. Painful.

One of things I loved about News Radio was the clever way in which they would occasionally veer into totally retarded, atypical sitcom world and do it in such a way so as to nod to the audience "look how stupid we're being" and still have it actually work.

NewsRadio's fifth season gave me the ability to just not consider things canon, which was invaluable for the Star Wars prequels.

They really took sweeps week seriously on this show, although they didn't take their African American cast members quite as much.

I never got a chance to watch this episode! Thank you!

This is right up there with Newsradio in Space.

I like to think this episode exists in the same world as "The Crimson Permanent Assurance."
