i think what's going to end up happening from this and the movement to bring back toonami is a third channel in the cartoon network family. CN Classic or something where they just show old cartoon network original programing.

Boomerang also rebroadcasts old Cartoon Network programming.

Also, a lot of CN's original shows came from 1990s-era Hanna-Barbera...like a few certain shows that repurposed old Space Ghost villains for comedic use.

The only CN stuff Boomerang plays is the "Cartoon Cartoon" stuff. Power Puff Girls/Dexters Lab/Johnny Bravo/Cow n' Chicken.

We don't get good old CN stuff like Space Ghost. I miss Adult Swim like crazy, but at least I get to watch Thundarr and The Perils of Penelope Pittstop...
