The thing that stood out most to me was the feeling of profoundly missing the point. This seemed to reduce all of the character's lives to the mundane.
It's one of those six thousand hours of hair-pulling for three minutes of neckbeard-stroking trade-offs. Thanks internet, for outsourcing my thoughts to people with more time on their hands. Really neat clip.
That's what I was thinking while I was watching this. "Hey, I could do this in Adobe After Effects. Let's see. Cut the layers, composite the images, lay out the masks for... every window? Edit... and resize... the video... Dang, were did that guy find the time?"
