I watched his reviews. He really doesn't need to summarize the episodes so much. Everybody who's interested has already seen the episode a few times.

How do ponies write? Or even open books, for that matter? I find it hard to believe that a society of "bookworms" could develop from a species that lacks thumbs and fingers.

Well if you just watched the show you'd know instead of asking me and looking like a total dweeb. Unicorns kinds cheat they use can use magic from their horns to levitate things. The Pegasi and Earth ponies use their mouths and hooves to write. I've seen them use both. Sometimes in the show they'll somehow pick stuff up with their hooves. It just works that way.
