I have a red car from 1997. If I'm part of some gangstalking stasi, I can tell you the pay is shit or I'd have something to drive that was at least assembled during the Bush Administration.

Void 71 - 2012-01-13

These gangstalker weirdos really like to stalk people who they think are stalking them.

Old_Zircon - 2012-01-13

Like how compulsive liars tend to suspect everyone of lying, people who cheat tend to suspect their partners of cheating, etc. etc.

Potter - 2012-01-13

What if all their "perps" are other gang stalking "victims" walking around secretly filming each other?

Oscar Wildcat - 2012-01-13

I like where this conversation is going...

dairyqueenlatifah - 2012-01-14

Yeah, don't stop now!

Syd Midnight - 2012-01-18

Good idea for a reality show. But if they were living in a house filled with cameras and microphones and people who sneak in at night and rearrange things, they'd probably start acting normal, because hey, there's a legitimate reason for it and everyone believes them. So you'd have to follow them around and film them secretly.

Riskbreaker - 2012-01-13

No better way to start the year here at poetv that with some good ol gangstalking.

Toenails - 2012-01-14

:(

I recently got into rewatching X-files.

My god the conspiracy episodes are awful garbage. It's all the non-resolution of Lost, except the mysteries aren't even interesting to begin with.

Then there's the hindsight that it would lead to truthers and all the other insufferable conspiracy theorists.

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2012-01-13

You're giving the show too much credit. They conspiracy whackos have always been there, and frankly they've got scarier fairy tales.

FABIO - 2012-01-13

That show wasn't a major influence on them? Have you seen this guy's username?

pastorofmuppets - 2012-01-14

Coast to Coast also got big / went paranormal in the 90s. Maybe we should do the 90s over.

kingarthur - 2012-01-14

Don't forget Bill Cooper. His "Behold A Pale Horse" was passed around as a joke all through high school in my neck of the woods. Then we found out he had a short wave radio show. :D

X-Files, the Internet etc. simply helped bring them into the mainstream of pop culture. They've always been there, you just used to have to go looking for them. Nowadays a sitcom can drop a Roswell reference and everyone will get it.

The internet kinda put the old fashioned hardworking "handwritten manifesto" crazies out of business by empowering the lazy and derivative, why make up your own reality when you can just watch The Matrix and listen to Coast to Coast and vlog about it.

Potter - 2012-01-13

We should start a betting pool to see which one of these nut-jobs gets on the national news first. Bonus prizes if it's because of a murder spree.
