Built Paul Tough!

Pretty much the only comment worth making.

The Mothership - 2011-12-07

yes.

Halfway through this, I started suspecting that it was a parody. Then I realized that parody was dead in America because of people like Ron Paul.

Gojira1000 - 2011-12-06

picture a mid-80s cheech marin dressed in a pirate outfit saying "Parody's dead" while staring sadly at a stiffening cockatoo.

takewithfood - 2011-12-06

I'm Ron Paul and I don't understand this message.

Rudy - 2011-12-07

The message is that while other candidates talk about ideas that will turn the US into a hellish, dystopian slave state, only Ron Paul has the balls to actually do it if elected.

Kind of uplifting when you think of it that way...

memedumpster - 2011-12-06

The outright destroy America platform is rather popular.

IrishWhiskey - 2011-12-06

Seriously. I thought libertarianism was supposed to be about phasing out government responsibility in favor of private action. Eliminating the education budget in year one would simply result in almost all American children except the rich wandering the streets without an education. No sane person would think that plan could ever be good for America.

fatatty - 2011-12-06

Luckily the President doesn't have the power to unilaterally destroy a federal government agency like Paul promises to do. Though if the GOP gets control of the House and the Senate in 2012 we might very well finally get a taste of this Mad Max paradise we've been promised for so long.

HotwaxNinjaPanther - 2011-12-07

His stance on things isn't really to get rid of these things entirely. He just wants to end federal control of the environment, education, currencies, military and leave everything up to the states to decide. Which seems good in theory.

In practice... I hope you're all ready for the economic chaos of competing currencies, sweatshop labor, the mass exodus, the secession and the civil wars that break out between the states. No wonder libertarians are so obsessed with gold and post-apocalypse seed banks.

Xenocide - 2011-12-07

I'M RON PAUL, AND LOOK, A DOG! also I'm insane and think obliterating America's infrastructure for no reason would somehow be a good thing. LOOK, A TRUCK!

Randroid - 2011-12-07

Counterpoint: poop trucks

I, Ron Paul, promise to intentionally destroy what you elected me to run! All those other Republican wimps just haphazardly and unintentionally crippled our country; just wait until you see what happens when a Republican puts his mind to it!

pastorofmuppets - 2011-12-06

Ron Paul is like a monster truck you can pour into your face!

themilkshark - 2011-12-06

Republicans haven't had a good idea since Lincoln.

Jet Bin Fever - 2011-12-06

I dig the royalty-free rock.

Ghoul - 2011-12-06

"Chainsaw" Ron Paul is here to make sure you NEVER HAVE TO GO TO SCHOOL EVER AGAIN! *righteous guitar shredding*

Sanest Man Alive - 2011-12-07

Before I watched the vid, I thought Ron Paul had gotten a sponsorship by Big Dogs apparel. I'm still not entirely sure that isn't the case.

dairyqueenlatifah - 2011-12-07

So...does the Paul camp really think a president has the ability, much less, SHOULD have the ability, to go in and completely dismantle all these governmental departments?

That scares me a bit.
