NOOOOOOOOO!

IrishWhiskey - 2011-10-02

For fun, immediately after the movie, play them the ending of 'Revenge of the Sith'. Because your kids are going to learn to hate you eventually, so you might as well get a funny YouTube video out of it.

Ursa_minor - 2011-10-03

OH THE IMPLICATIONS!

sosage - 2011-10-03

"He kissed his sister?"

kingofthenothing - 2011-10-03

this kid's got a lot more attention span than I had at that age. When I was 4 a movie would put me to sleep.

Spoonybard - 2011-10-03

"Okay kids, there's a big surprise coming up. I'm just going to film you with this camera and see how you react."

BiggerJ - 2011-10-03

And yet the kid was still surprised. He had never heard of such a twist before. It's hard to fathom someone being surprised by that kind of twist, I know. THe concept is too well known now. It's good to get the surprise into his life as originally intended.

Spoonybard - 2011-10-03

I was implying that he was giving the reaction he felt was expected of him

Maru - 2012-03-06

yeah exactly he even looks at the camera to confirm that's the thing he's supposed to be reacting to.

Bort - 2011-10-03

From what I've seen, kids these days watch their "Star Wars" films in order of decreasing number of light sabers, so prequels first, and "Star Wars" -- excuse me, "A New Hope" -- last. I applaud this dad for making his kids watch in the right order, not because it is in any way important, but because this is the order that at least allows the kids to enjoy a surprise.

kwash - 2011-10-03

The correct order, of course, being episodes 4/5/6, in that order, and then never mentioning the prequels. At least until they're old enough to understand watching movies satirically.

jyrque - 2011-10-03

No child of mine will grow up to be a damn hipster.

kwash - 2011-10-03

Yes, because any person who watches a bad movie and enjoys it is a hipster.

knowless - 2011-10-03

the new movies are painful to watch. but maybe if i hadn't seen the old ones first, they would have been a joyful romp. isa gonna play support role of retarded jamaican, the sand, is so course, but your skin, soooooo smoooothe..

not like it matters, like whatever you want, but the money spent making phantom menace could have been used to found a new republic.

themilkshark - 2011-10-03

Pretty cool. i hated Star Wars until I was 12.

Frabo - 2011-10-03

He killed his father while he slept that night. Just in case.
