Great now we have to come with some new ones!

Jet Bin Fever - 2011-09-28

hilarious!

fedex - 2011-09-28

hey hey there, one-starrin' pardner, maybe you better go a little easy with that

urbanelf - 2011-09-28

LOLERSKATES!

themilkshark - 2011-09-29

rolling on the floor

laughing my ass off

MrBuddy - 2011-09-28

Aren't some of those kind of um... not for kids? I mean, Bunchie is also known as "dick lama".

Caminante Nocturno - 2011-09-28

Kids would never laugh at a penis joke.

themilkshark - 2011-09-29

Take a look at some of the signs Bugs Bunny held up in classic Looney Tunes shorts.

BTW this is the MAD show, and if the magazine is any indication there's plenty of subtle adult humor peppered throughout.

Wander - 2011-09-28

It's just a bunch of shit.

Chalkdust - 2011-09-28

this is the best thing I've ever seen from that Mad cartoon show and it's still only worth two stars

Chalkdust - 2011-09-28

because dog fort always makes me giggle

Caminante Nocturno - 2011-09-28

5 stars for beating Robot Chicken at its own game.

Cube - 2011-09-28

Latest episodes of The Simpsons and Family Guy (or American Dad or Cleveland Show, who can tell them apart) also had meme-references.

I guess conventional writing is not in at the moment.

fatatty - 2011-09-28

The internet's just another form of popular media. I don't know why it's any less legitimate to reference popular creations on the internet than referencing television or movies.

Unless of course the end result is less funny than the original point of reference like everything in this.

5 stars!

cool water sandwich - 2011-09-28

Yeah, I quite liked when Burns mentioned Lemon Party. It also serves to date the episode and make sure its humour is only penetrable to one small group, thus ensuring the show is getting closer to death.

fatatty - 2011-09-28

Honestly I used to hate dated references a lot more than I do now. I look at them now as a sort of time capsule about what was going on in the world at the time of the shows creation.

Yeah maybe a kid in 50 years won't get a Michael Jackson joke, but maybe he'll look it up on the internet-o-tron module in his eyeball and learn a new singer he likes, or a new creepy pedophile story to share with his friends.

Cube - 2011-09-28

Well, the biggest difference is that TV shows and movies are, or at least were made by professionals with at least some idea of what they're doing. The Internet... Not so much.

sosage - 2011-09-28

I have a lot of friends...on MYSPACE!

fatatty - 2011-09-29

And to me, amateur art is still art. The word amateur comes from the Latin amātor for lover. Amateurs are merely people who do it for the love and not the money. To me that's the most viable art of all.

And if you don't think Nyan Cat is art then your opinion is invalid.

kwash - 2011-09-28

Damnit. I was just about to post this.

Anaxagoras - 2011-09-28

I know terrible things are supposed to get 5 stars, but this thing is so bad it breaks the star barrier and wraps around to a 1 star.

jyrque - 2011-09-28

Horrimeh.

themilkshark - 2011-09-29

meh is like a queef of an opinion

Meatsack Jones - 2011-09-28

I have to believe that upper management thought this was "cool and edgy", while the drones did it for the inverse joke they knew it to be. I give it 5 stars on that theory alone.

themilkshark - 2011-09-29

No... Edgy and cool!

EvilHomer - 2011-09-28

I CAN HAS and that was as far as I got.

MongoMcMichael - 2011-09-28

All my stars for samoflange.

spikestoyiu - 2011-09-28

This is really terrible. So 1 or 5? I'm so confused.

fedex - 2011-09-29

well, it ain't Portal of Meh

Riskbreaker - 2011-09-28

The internet will destroy civilization as we know it. People won't be able to speak to each other without having to resort to some internet meme.

jreid - 2011-09-28

This is one of those confusing videos for me - do I give it 5 stars because of the horrible level of evil it represents, or 1 star because it literally makes me want to shove a bread knife into my ear.

giygusattack - 2011-09-28

Oh this is awesome for 10 year olds.

Hugo Gorilla - 2011-09-28

Maybe I'm wrong, but aren't they making fun of the memes while also using them as a punchline? That counts for something in my book. At least it's not just the dull celebration of recognizable catchphrases.

Besides, this is a kids' show.

Macho Nacho - 2011-09-28

Good to know that some newgrounds animators are getting work.

Triggerbaby - 2011-09-28

The average Thundercats fan will be delighted.

American Standard - 2011-09-28

No.

themilkshark - 2011-09-29

Lots of people thought this was funny, more than the folks who share your distaste.

It's unfortunate, but the average TV watcher likes really shitty stuff.

Wonko the Sane - 2011-09-28

At least a third of these memes I don't recognize, not sure if I should be proud or ashamed.

Already ashamed by the other 2/3

Hailey2006 - 2011-09-28

In addition...I picture Cartoon Network as one big office full of cubiciles and the employees look at stupid things on their computers when they should be working and the bosses see what they're looking at and come up HOT NEW SHOWS!

Space Helicopter - 2011-09-29

A thowback to 20 years ago uses jokes from 1 year ago. Soon people won't have to be creative anymore.

themilkshark - 2011-09-29

They're not creative anymore. Seriously, I checked. Every movie is a remake except the one Steven Spielberg is making about Rock-Em' Sock-'Em Robots.

Corpus Delectable - 2011-09-29

I was the right age for this show when it came out, so "Thundercats, Thundercats, Thundercats, LOOLLLLL!" got me.

fedex - 2011-09-29

that age being....35?
